West Michigan Car Service (WMCS) – Terms & Policies

WMCS Zero Tolerance Policy

At WMCS, safety is our top priority. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for the use of drugs or alcohol by our drivers while operating any vehicle. Drivers are strictly prohibited from being under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or impairing prescription drugs during service.

If you suspect a driver is under the influence, please contact WMCS immediately to report your concerns. Complaints can be submitted by:

  • All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly to ensure the continued safety and trust of our passengers.
Smoking Policy
  • No Smoking: All vehicles are strictly non-smoking.

Vehicle Capacity

  • Vehicles will only be loaded up to legal seating capacity.
Cancellations & Fees
  • Standard Cancellation:
    • 90% fee applies if cancelled within 10 hours of scheduled pick-up.
  • Trip Protection Option:
    • 70% fee cancellation up to 3 hours before pick-up without penalty.
  • Flight Cancellation Exception:
    • Must notify office for exception to be granted.
  • Short Notice Booking Surcharge:
    • 20% surcharge for bookings within 6 hours.
  • Holiday Surcharge:
    • 20% surcharge applies to national holidays.
  • Sanitation Fee:
    • $450 charge if vehicle requires special cleaning.
Driver Authority
  • Drivers may terminate rides without refund if:
    • Terms are violated.
    • Any crime is committed or threatened.
    • Unsafe or illegal behavior occurs.

Waiting Time

  • 15-minute grace period from scheduled pick-up.
  • After that, hourly rate charges apply.

Personal Property

  • WMCS is not responsible for lost or left-behind items.

Payments

  • All remaining balances must be paid before the ride begins.

Liability

  • WMCS makes no warranties regarding services.
  • WMCS is not liable for:
    • Loss of use, revenue, profit, or value.
    • Indirect, incidental, or punitive damages.
  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid for services.
Privacy Policy
  • Your personal information is kept private and only used:
    • To provide and improve service.
    • For billing and confirmation.
    • With your consent, for special offers.
Non-Discrimination Policy

West Michigan Car Service (WMCS) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all customers and employees. WMCS maintains a strict non-discrimination policy and does not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind.

All passengers, regardless of background or identity, will be treated with dignity and respect. Any employee or driver found to be in violation of this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Similarly, WMCS reserves the right to refuse service to any customer whose behavior is discriminatory, abusive, or harassing.

If you feel you have experienced or witnessed discrimination while using WMCS services, please report the incident to our customer service team immediately. We take such reports seriously and will conduct a thorough review.
